Testimonial:
Since our first association with Solearte during the Leave Your Egos At Home Surf Carnival in 2002, Owen has continued to donate his work to benefit the sick, in particular cancer patients, of the Sunshine Coast.
Owen’s exceptional airbrushed ocean scenes have featured on fridges auctioned at a number of Foundation fundraising events. A Solearte piece at a charity auction always attracts great interest, a bidding war and an impressive price. Two Solearte fridges, auctioned and raffled, have raised over $5,000 for the Foundation’s $1.5 million campaign to establish the Sunshine Coast Cancer Centre at Nambour Hospital.
A farewell Solearte Exhibition later that year at Jim Woodriffe’s Ski Factory also directed proceeds to the Foundation.
The Sunshine Coast Health Services Foundation Board and staff sincerely thank Owen Cavanagh and Solearte Australia for devoting effort and incredible talent to bettering the Sunshine Coast community. .
We look forward to the continued support of Solearte Australia, a professional, innovative and generous organisation that truly reflects the unique spirit of the Sunshine Coast.
Yours sincerely,
Lisa Rowe
